About the Local No. One Funds
The Welfare, Pension and Annuity Funds of Local No. One, I.A.T.S.E. are trust funds established through collective bargaining with various entertainment industry employers in the New York City metropolitan area to provide welfare, pension and annuity benefits to the Local One membership. Our participants are the Brothers and Sisters who construct, install, maintain, and operate the lighting and sound equipment, the scenery and special effects which thrill and delight audiences attending Broadway shows, concerts at Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, the magnificent, spectacular productions at The Metropolitan Opera and throughout Lincoln Center, and the many entertaining broadcasts from CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, and PBS. Our participants work at numerous cable TV studios and make possible the presentation of major corporate industrials and special events.
The Funds are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of an equal number of representatives of the Union and industry employers. You are eligible to participate in the Funds as an employee only if you are covered by a collective bargaining agreement that provides for contributions to one or more of the Funds, or you are an employee of the Union or the Funds. Day to day operations of the Funds are administered by the Fund Office. For more information on a specific Fund, click on the name of the Fund above.
